Macron's miscalculation

1. Macron’s bet resulted in the emergence of two blocks, one led by far-right and the other one led by far-left.

2. He totally underpriced the worst outcome, namely the quick resurgence of a left-wing alliance, led by far-left. He (and his advisors) are still concentrating attacks on far-right, expecting a victory but at the end supporting far-left.
