With energy analysts sweating bullets every day the Strait of Hormuz remains (mostly) blocked (if only to non "friendly" nations, a list which is getting smaller by the day as most Asian countries now appear willing to pay Iran's $2 million toll to cross the strait), doing increasingly more terrifying calculations on what every additional day, if not hour, of delay means for energy prices, over the weekend Morgan Stanley's energy analyst Martijn Rats said that he now assumes the effective closure of Hormuz lasts through end-April, with only gradual recovery in flows thereafter.
