Winter storm warnings and advisories have already been posted for the mid-South, Ohio Valley, and Northeast for Friday.

Accumulating snow will be seen in the interior Northeast throughout Saturday.

Snowfall projections for the upper Mississippi Valley into parts of the Great Lakes and interior Northeast could exceed 6 inches.
